These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CodLight website at codlight.com (the “Site”). Engagements for development services are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement signed with each client; this document covers only your use of the marketing website.

1. Acceptance
By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The Site
The Site provides marketing information about CodLight, including services, case studies, and a way to schedule consultations. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Site at any time without notice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site or its underlying systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including via excessive requests, scraping, or denial-of-service activity.
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, or harmful.
- Use the Site to distribute malware or harvest information about other users.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, software, logos, designs, and the CodLight brand — is owned by CodLight or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication, requires our prior written consent.
Third-party trademarks (such as React, Next.js, AWS, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced only to describe interoperability.
5. User submissions
If you submit information via our contact form, chat, or newsletter sign-up, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. By submitting, you grant CodLight a non-exclusive licence to use the information solely to respond to your inquiry and to operate the Site.
6. Third-party services
The Site integrates third-party services including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Tawk.to, and Calendly. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodLight disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodLight will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CodLight harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including a violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CodLight is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Material changes will be reflected by a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
